Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy grew up on the 16th of April, 1996 on the 16th of April 1996 in Miami Florida. Half English and half Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father was an Argentine with Scottish and English ancestry. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English ancestral roots. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children. Four are the result of a previous marriage to Taylor's father. The family was based in Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria part of London. Taylor-Joy said the move had been traumatic, and refused to study English in the hope of be able to return to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she moved from Northlands. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study ballet as well as perform in the school's productions. At 16, she left school in order to take on acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to be an actress. Her dream was granted a opportunity by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management and was offered an opportunity as a model.
