Torrie, one of the top wrestlers of all time, came from the vast and expansive farms of Boise. Wilson began her career as a performer when she and her boyfriend visited WCW in the backstage. Scott Steiner later invited Wilson to compete in his rings. The industry lasted for over 10 years. Wilson also managed opponents David Flair (occasionally), Billy Kidman, Shanth Douglas and The Filthy Children as she competed on the WCW circuit. Wilson became a part of WWE following the spring 2001 purchase of WCW. The combination of her sportsmanship and love for entertainment made Wilson a good fit to WWE during a time WWE was in the most activity. Wilson's association with her friend (and sometimes adversary) Stacy Keibler helped make her the key player in WCW's invasion of WWE. Wilson's participation in WCW's women's WWE division began after that invasion. Wilson had memorable rivalries among them Keibler, Sable, Melina as well as Melina, Sable, and Keibler. She also stood up for the honor of her family against the nefarious Dawn Marie.
